In this one hundred paged book, you will not only learn practical modern and classic billet techniques, but new routines that will change the way you see billets forever. This is a course for the beginner, intermediate and expert in mentalism. This is a course that will have you returning to learn new techniques and routines that can be performed on stage and closeup. If you want to learn new routines and techniques, be inspired to create your own and revisit classics, to learn more about classic billet material – and genuinely shock your audience – you need this book.

Believe me when I say I have put so much effort into this book. This is not a book that you will read and put down and move on. This is a book that is overflowing with so much practical material, that you will find yourself referring back to it time and time again. Believe me when I say that each individual routine and technique is worth the price of admission.

Now I could blabber on about this book for hours, but I suggest you just read below to see what material you will be receiving:

Typhon – This is an instant access Center Tear that I have developed over the last few years.

Abaddon – This is one of my favorite billet routines of all time. It is the perfect living and dead test with no markings. I also included a variation of Abaddon that I worked on with Richard Osterlind.

Ten Star Mind Explosion – In this, the spectator names ten letters. Each letter is written down, then one by one they are crossed out and eliminated in a fair and easy to follow manner (no Equiv*que). Leaving the spectator with one final letter. They then name a name starting with that final letter before it is revealed to have been predicted from the very start.

TOP – A funky prediction with a perfect segway to a center tear routine.

Deactivating Forever – An incredible routine where the spectator names their favorite type of coffee and that exact type of coffee has been in the performer’s hand from the very start! (100% sure fire).

The Broken Triangle 2.0 – The spectator is shown a list of twenty popular movies. The spectator then thinks of one of the movies and with nothing written down the performer is able to divine their thought! You will also learn a brilliant way to perform this to two spectators. (NO PA or Pe*ks).

Sixty Sixty Pe*k – This is a peek that is done after folding the billet five times. It is a completely new method; never before seen.

Red Pill, Blue Pill – The spectator is shown a prediction. The performer asks the spectator to either decide on taking a red pill or a blue pill. After deciding which pill to take, the spectator then imagines the pill in one of their hands. Once they have decided which hand the pill should be in, the performer unfolds the prediction to reveal that they did not only predict which pill the spectator imagined taking but also which hand they hid it in.

The Obsolete Principle – A refreshing new principle that allows you to force anything written on a billet from a small stack of billets.

The Dreamers – A dream divination routine that uses The Obsolete Principle.

Elementary – An incredible prediction routine utilizing the four elements. This routine also involves The Obsolete Principle.

Positive vs Negative – Again using The Obsolete Principle, this is a beautiful routine where the spectator is able to select the only card that has a positive message out of four.

The Single Envelope Test – An incredible drawing duplication routine. In addition to the versatile basic routine, you will also receive a zodiac divination form.

The Tin Machine – A new two way out system built inside an envelope.

Bonus Presentations – In addition to teaching you new presentations on how to reveal thought of pets, colors, names and much more, Remastered will also teach you the real secrets of how to properly reveal thoughts; you will also be receiving theory on Justifications, Indexes and Getting New Clients.

“I like it. I like the different take on the living/dead, and the ***** works great. Nice sequence”Mark Strivings about Abaddon

“This is a very sensible approach to using this type of gimmick. There is a logical reason for the drawings on the envelope which makes everything self-contained, including obtaining the needed information”Kenton Knepper about The Single Envelope Test

“It is great to see Emma putting her mind to existing principles and making them more practical and even more impossible by adding deceptive layers along with wonderful routining”Joel Dickinson about The Ten Star Mind Explosion

“Beautiful work Emma! I love the Door Envelope and other ideas that I prefer to not explicitly said, keep your wonderful creativity alive”Pablo Amira.

“What it is not is another entry level study into billets, there is a clever undercurrent and approach to Emma’s creativity. Whilst the focus in this is on billets, performance ideas and justifications, there is also a clever new billet tear and peek method, plus some envelope work amongst other chapters, all which has evidently been performed, given how well explained all is. This is one of a trilogy of forthcoming volumes by Emma and I look forward to reading the rest”Steve Drury. Co-Founder of PSYCRETS. British Society of Mystery Entertainers

Emma Wooding's REMASTERED VOLUME ONE is a collection of "billet-workesque" effects, which is about 90 pages thick. However, this is not your standard billet work with a lot of switching and one-ahead. Actually, Emma uses these techniques only once each in the whole book and includes ideas using cards that are not folded, special envelopes etc. So, this is basically a modern take on the subject.

After an introduction and explaning the basics of billet work, Emma shares her instant access CT, which is called "Typhon". Would I use it? No. Why? Simply because I already have a CT that I use. However, if you haven't decided on a method yet, this is a good choice. If you have the handling down, this looks natural and gives you a good peek at the information‚ what more could you ask for?

Next is "Abaddon", which basically is her rather soft take on the living and dead plot. What is great about this is that the paticipant intuits the billet with the living name on it and is correct 100% of the time. No force, no markings. Most of the time you can reveal the thought of name as well. This is very different from other creator's versions of living and dead. Actually, this doesn't even need the said theme, so Emma suggests some alternative presentations to this beautifully structured routine. As if that wouldn't be enough, she also included Richard Osterlind's ideas on "Abaddon".

The "Sixty Sixty Peek" is a pretty unique concept, as the billet is folded four (!) times before you execute the peek. It does have some limitations to it but you will be surprised at how much you can still see. It works great with numbers and letters, so very short pieces of information. To be honest, it is not my favorite peek of all time but it is definitely workable.

"Top" is a prelude to a CT, utilizing some very basic psychological forces. Not super creative, almost feels like a filler. The routine is only one page, so whatever.

"Ten Star Mind Explosion" is my favorite piece in this book. They name some letters, pick one of them and think of a word/name, you predicted it. In the right hands, this has closer-potential! The letter force is soooo easy, yet devious and also very practical. If you know me, you know that I love impromptu material‚ and this can be performed completely impromptu. Actually, this is almost too strong, so I tend to make the prediction slightly off.

The next piece is called "Red Pill, Blue Pill". The presentational hook is interesting but I don't like the routine itself.

You like coffee? You like the Sw*** Gi*****? Then "Deactivating Forever" is for you.

"The Broken Triangle 2.0" is a mind reading piece, using a file card with movie titles on it. They merely THINK of a movie and you reveal it. It's not just fishing btw. Pretty cool to have in your wallet.

"The Single Envelope Test" is another clever peek device, that can be used with symbols, star signs etc. and with cards and even folded billets. What's nice about it is that you can show the envelope from the front AND back.

You need a cheap solution to having two outs? Craft yourself a "Tin Machine Envelope" a la Emma! All you need is three envelopes, scissors and glue. This tool can be helpful in various routines in this book.

"The Obsolete Principle" is a versatile force (or anti-force?!) that you can use in a number of ways with playing cards, business cards or anything else that is flat and stackable. Emma even gives you multiple examples for routines that utilize this technique. I found that "The Obsolete Principle" is a nice out for the timing force as well if you need a safety net. Apart from the principle, I really like some of Emma's presentational ideas, such as "The Dreamers".

The last part is made of "Appendix 1‚ Performance Ideas", "Appendix 2‚ Justifications" and "Appendix 3, Faith". Now, this is where the gold is hidden‚ at the very end of the book. Don't get me wrong, some of the previous ideas were amazing but in this last section, Emma shares her thoughts on performance and presentation that are more valuable than "Ten Star Mind Explosion" and "Abaddon" together.

Every mentalist should read this book, as for 24 Pounds you get A LOT of value in terms of hard hitting working material, inspiration and advice.
